The road north from Malargue passes through an awesome valle called Valle Grande. As the name might imply, it is something like Argentina's version of our own Grand Canyon. We stopped often along the road to take photos and enjoy the view, then spent the night in a comfy cabaña before continuing on to San Rafael the next day.
