Our only reason for stopping in Oruro was to purchase a carnaval mask for a souvenir. Since carnaval is coming up soon, there were plenty of shops full of costumes for sale. I ended up buying an unfinished piece made of bare tin. No photo, though, sorry.
Other than that, Oruro is not a remarkable place as far as tourism goes. We stayed one night in a crappy hotel and left the next day.
